Before the rush of the holiday season, I took the train down to NYC with some family. Our mission was to fulfill my grandmother’s wish to see a show at the Metropolitan Opera. We succeeded with flying colors, the production of Aida was stunning. A bit of downtime allowed me a visit to the Guggenheim, where I was able to tour the Picasso ‘Black & White’ exhibit that filled the rotunda. Absolutely inspiring. With a jaunt of time-off in my future I’m looking forward to delving into some painting I’ve been neglecting. Serendipitously, it’s in grayscale.
