Tonight I had a technical rehearsal as a lighting mentor and a prototype bubble tunnel of light to distract me from my continued disbelief that the potential demise of our country is eminent under the abhorrent pres-elect. It’s shocking and sad, disheartening and disappointing. I’m still unsure how to process this future reality, so I’ve focused energies on the creative. I’ve considered demonstrating in the streets, but protests on hold. We’ve got a show to open.
