Botanical Gardens
I spoke at the Botanical Gardens last night where my students had installed sculptures and lighting in the Panama Rainforest Dome and outside the garden’s entrance under the direction of LK. Glowing orbs and a mystic butterfly. Well done. Starting the semester off right. #ubthd #ubusitt

Sponge & Scramble
If these shadows have offended… Nothing like a late night post-dress rehearsal paint call with my students to bring out the loopy in everyone. Sponge glaze layer has made all the difference for this floor edit mid-tech. Finished under the light of our Midsummer supermoon during the witching hour. Scramble!

Tonight I had a technical rehearsal as a lighting mentor and a prototype bubble tunnel of light to distract me from my continued disbelief that the potential demise of our country is eminent under the abhorrent pres-elect. It’s shocking and sad, disheartening and disappointing. I’m still unsure how to process…
